Insight Method (4 sessions)
This open meditation series for beginners, is popular amongst Buddhist and non-Buddhist alike. The teaching approach is that of very basic Buddhist Psychology taught in a practical manner. The course comprises two related sections:
Theory - A study of the meditation methods as given in the original texts of the Buddha
Practice - A guided practice of the meditation method (including Q&A sessions)

Mindful breathing. How not to be dictated by the past: present-moment awareness.

Cultivating positive emotions. Healing oneself through loving kindness meditation.
Managing anger. Self-watching against destructive emotions.
Not fearing even fear itself. Managing one's thoughts of fear & worry.
Overcoming drowsiness. Keeping the mind fresh & attentive.
Walking in peace. Keeping mental focus on physical activity: walking meditation.
