 The Venerable is the abbot of Golden Pagoda Buddhist Temple and chief editor of Vaidurya magazine. The Venerable is currently involved in leading groups of Buddhist Singaporeans to the Myanmar to restore ancient Buddhist pagodas and temples.
Due to the good merit done by the Venerable Shi Fazhao in helping to restore ancient pagodas in Myanmar, the abbot of Mrauk-U manastery conveyed a discovered Buddha's tooth to the Golden Pagoda Buddhist Temple in Singapore.
