ABC’s annual Vesak Celebration is back! The two-year hiatus due to the pandemic makes this opportunity for us to celebrate together the Buddha’s birth, enlightenment, and parinirvana extra precious. We cannot wait to see everyone, both familiar and new faces, at the Celebration, where there will be various activities you can participate in to create merit, receive blessings, and support the Centre’s beneficial activities.😍

Today in the year 2566 ( BE ), Buddhists throughout the world celebrate the birth,the enlightenment and the passing away to parinibanna of Gautama Buddha on Vesak Day.
"A unique Being, an extraordinary Man arises in this world for the benefit of the many, for the happiness of the many, out of compassion for the world, for the good, benefit, and happiness of gods and men.

Vesak Celebration 2022: Inviting Your Sponsorship for Pujas and Offerings at Kopan Monastery and Boudhanath Stupa (Nepal)📿🕯️
To celebrate Guru Shakyamuni Buddha’s birth, enlightenment and parinirvana this year, ABC has organised six pujas and a range of offerings at Kopan Monastery and Boudhanath Stupa for your sponsorship and dedication (see the poster for more details). Planning is also underway for Vesak Celebration with ABC at the Aljunied MRT Open Ground. Look out for further details in the coming weeks!

The Buddha taught in the Tune of Brahma Sutra Clarifying Karma that offering light brings you the following benefits:
You are able to eliminate the darkness of ignorance
You receive much wealth and enjoyments
You will quickly achieve enlightenment
