Vesak Day celebrates the birth, enlightenment, and Parinirvana of Gautama Buddha. It is a time to reflect on his teachings — The Four Noble Truths and the Noble Eightfold Path.
These teachings guide us to abandon non-virtuous deeds, cultivate virtuous ones, and purify our minds. Let us express gratitude for the Buddha's legacy and strive to do good for ourselves and others.
Join us in commemorating Vesak with a variety of meaningful rituals and engaging activities aimed at fostering unity within families and communities. Experience spiritual events such as the “Three Steps, One Bow” Ceremony and the Bathing of Prince Siddhartha, designed to deepen your connection to the teachings of Buddhism. Immerse yourself in captivating stage performances and interactive mindfulness workshops at our Family Entertainment and Activities Corner. Additionally, let us spread love and kindness through noble causes like blood donation drives and charity fundraisers.
Save the dates and join us as we embark on this enriching journey, uniting our hearts to shape a better and brighter tomorrow.
An interfaith/community initiative by EC Grassroots Organisations, EC Harmony Circles and Buddhist Youth Network to give out baked cookies to both Buddhists and non-Buddhists on Vesak Day morning
Join us to spread love through East Coast's Vesak Day Baking Project from 19th May to 22nd May! Whether you're an experienced baker or have never baked before, there's a meaningful role awaiting you.
