Comments : Actually, we belong to Newar community here in Lalitpur,
Kathmandu, Nepal and I guess you must be knowing quite a bit of the
religion and community here. We worship Buddha. And we earn our livlihood by
making various dharma articles and other metal statues of different gods and
deities specifically of Nepalese and Tibetan kind. Our culture and heritage
are very much influenced by Buddhism. Our art and crafts are basically based
on this religion and it is world famous. Lots of Buddhism preaching persons,
Lamas, Sherpas and even Westerners come and buy such dharma related arts and
crafts from our places like our city Lalitpur, then areas of Swoyanbunath
temple and Bouddhanath temples here in Kathmandu valley of Nepal. Your site
is undoubledly a great website and we pray that you achieve your goal
of serving through this electronic media. In the meantime, as we mentioned
above about the arts and crafts related to Buddhist preaching, ceremonies
and offerings, can you set aside for a site for such items? Such provision
would help creat jobs for artesans like us and eventually, we think, it would
contribute in a different manner for proliferation and propagation of
Buddha Dharma in bigger mass of world population. So, as said above, Please
include such a site where there be information about arts and crafts and
other accessories as well that may be which could eventually help for those
who want to lead the path shown by the Great Buddha.

page has been excellent and would definitely surf this page very often to learn
about the teaching of Buddhism. The background music is very good too. I think it
is a good idea to include Collections in this page to allow devoted buddhist to do
some rare collections. Well,Singapore Mint has just issue the Buddha gold coin.

Comments : A Christian turn Buddhist.With understanding I begin to feel what
this world need is not religion. If there is ever a religion to bring the world
together it should be called LOVE.With love I embrassed all fellow men regardless
of religions,language,nationality. The wall paper of Amitaba is beautiful done,but
colour combinations of your write up is a strain to the eyes. At times I have to
struggle and scroll to read when it is printed black against the wallpaper. Road maps
and bus services to ths various destinations will be of great help.After all not
everyone can afford taxi.

Comments : I was taught the Buddhist Studies during my Secondary school years. However, I lost touch with it for a long time until somewhere last year, my husband decided to bring me along to a dharma talk hosted by Buddhist Fellowship. During that time, I was going through a very tough period cos' I was suffering from a serious depression and do not know how to overcome myself. Then, my husband hope that by listening to this talk I would be able to find some answers or to look at life at a different perspective. His main wish is for me to be happy. After I went for the talk and subsequent talks as well, I really felt that I am very lucky to be able to get to study the Dharma again. That's why I decided to learn and know more about the teachings in a way that not only I can benefit from it as well as the rest of the sentient beings. I try to make an effort to study and put to practice the teachings but I can say it's not easy because I am so use of my ways that suddenly, I have to change and it's not 1 or 2 days kind of stuff. But I really appreciate and thankful for what I have. This is how I have come across the teachings of the Buddha and honestly, I really do not know what to write about myself. I guess this is the best that I can write cos' I am not very good with words. Probably you can assist by enlighten me further on the Dharma.

Comments : ~~~Hello good people: I'm a writer on the subject of Asian art. I'm married to a Singapore girl whom I met while on assignment there for Oxford Univ.Pr, S.E. Asia. I wrote THE KRIS for them, a best-seller.

~~~My latest book, TO PLEASE A CHINESE WIFE, deals extensively with Asian art and religions and particularly with the life of Buddha as portrayed in the stone sculptures at Borobudur in central Java. Amazon.com describes the book well.
~~~I like the gentle and varied way that you are presenting Him and His teachings. I've long been a scholar of His remarkble life and am always mindful of His immutable teachings. Do continue in the attractive format you have chosen. Sincerely yours, Edward Frey, author, Asian art. ~~~Perhaps a simple presentation of the various styles of the Buddha image. This would be well-received by art-lovers everywhere. E.F.
