Buddhist Counselling ( theory and practical )

This Dharma-centred and Sutta-based counselling course is based on the vital truth that there is the "heart of light" within us. We are all essentially good, but external defilements cloud our natural goodness. The immediate focus is on counselling and communicating with people around us: the family, the work-place, the Buddhist centre and other groups. This course teaches how to cultivate and maintain one's emotional health so that one can effectively help others. This hands-on course will also use modern counselling exercises.
